In a Rotary grate combustion system, coal is transferred from the storage bunker onto the rotating grate, moving it toward the furnace. As the coal enters the furnace, it begins to release moisture due to the radiated heat. As temperatures rise, the coal undergoes gasification, releasing volatile and combustible compounds, and subsequently, the fixed carbon is burned off as it progresses along the grate. This process ensures that all coal components are thoroughly combusted by the time they reach the grate's end.

The efficiency of this system results in minimal slag residue, which is then collected into a slag container for removal. The entire operation, from coal loading to burning and slag disposal, is managed by a fully automated PLC system, ensuring optimal combustion efficiency and significantly reduced emissions.
